Haku Maki (1924-2009) was born in Asomachi in Ibarargi Prefecture. His real name was Maejima Tadaaki, but used the namae Haku Maki. He worked in many different techniques, cement-relief block prints, woodblock and stencil often combining techniques in one print.
These charming woodblock very small prints are little “gems” they are 2×2” in pristine condition and each one is set in a 2 1/2x 2 ½” rag mat. Printed about 1975, each print is penciled signed and numbered by the artist. The Price is $150 for each print.
